These Terms govern your use of GNOTO (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all matters relating to your use of the Service between you and us.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for managing your account credentials. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use. Each account is intended for individual use.

3. Fees & Payment

Prices, payment methods, and billing periods are as shown on the pricing screen and the Commercial Disclosure. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically and are charged on each renewal date unless cancelled.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel anytime from the pricing screen; access continues until the end of the current period, after which you move to the free plan. As a digital service, fees are generally non-refundable. Unlimited (one-time) is not eligible for cancellation or refund.

5. GNOTO Tokens

GNOTO Tokens are usable only within the Service and cannot be exchanged for cash. Earning and usage rules are set by us and may change without notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Violating laws or public order
• Infringing the rights of us or third parties
• Interfering with the Service, unauthorized access, or reverse engineering
• Harassment or impersonation of other users
• Fraudulent acquisition or use of fees or tokens

7. Content

You retain rights to the notes and content you create. You grant us permission to store and process it as needed to provide the Service. We may remove unlawful or inappropriate content.

8. Changes & suspension

We may change, suspend, or end the Service without prior notice and are not liable for resulting losses.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or availability. It is intended for study and does not provide professional legal, medical, or other advice.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms; the revised version takes effect when posted here.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts having jurisdiction over our location.

Privacy Policy

GNOTO (the "Service") handles your information as described below.

1. Information we collect

• Account info (display name, email, account code, etc.)
• Notes and chat content you create
• Plan/contract status and usage (e.g., time spent, features used)
• Payment info (processed by payment providers; we do not store card numbers)

2. How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• For authentication and data storage/sync
• For billing and subscription management
• To prevent abuse and respond to inquiries

3. Third-party services

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, PayPay, etc.) for payments. Their handling of data follows their respective privacy policies. Card details are handled directly by the payment providers; we do not store them.

4. Sharing

We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

5. Security

We strive to protect your information. Your data is tied to your account and designed to be accessible only by you.

6. Deletion

To delete your account or data, contact us. We will delete it within a reasonable period unless retention is legally required.

7. Cookies / local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated; changes take effect when posted here.
